Traffic Control & Safety Items

Accu-Pave can provide specialty items and equipment for new paving projects, upgrades to existing facilities or as replacements for repair projects. Our selection of traffic control and safety items includes the following:

Protection Items include bollards which are straight or horseshoe shaped steel pipes that are mounted into the ground to protect buildings, light poles and other items from being struck by inattentive drivers. Bollards can be ordered in many sizes and field painted to address aesthetic and visibility concerns. Custom bollards are available in polished stainless steel, illuminated, and custom shapes. For large area protection we can provide and paint concrete curbs or islands.

Vehicle & Speed Control items include concrete or fiberglass wheel stops, also called parking blocks, which impede the forward movement of vehicles. These are the curb-like items commonly used in front of buildings to stop vehicles, or used to define an end point for traffic parking spaces. We offer asphalt "built up" speed bumps and fiberglass speed humps which are mechanically fastened to the pavement. These items are used to discourage vehicles from traveling at anythng other than a very slow rate of travel.

Directional & Instructional Signage items include no parking signs, fire lane signs, handicapped parking signs, turn arrows, reserved parking signs, security warnings, stop signs and other signage used to control or direct vehicle or pedestrian traffic.
